Outdoor Winter Storage
Fenced, gated and monitored, October through May. Insured to $5M, certificate on request. Yard location is never published.
Full detailsTwo yards on the lake. One at Georgina on the south shore, one at Barrie on Kempenfelt Bay. Your boat goes to whichever is closer to your dock.
Lake Simcoe is the fourth largest lake in Ontario and it does not freeze all at once. Cook’s Bay at the south end is shallow, roughly four to five metres through most of it, and it can start making ice while the rest of the lake is still open water. Kempenfelt Bay at Barrie runs past forty metres deep and holds its heat, so the west end is regularly two to three weeks behind the south.
That gap matters more than most owners expect. A boat kept at Keswick or Holland Landing is on a genuinely earlier clock than an identical boat kept at Barrie or Big Bay Point, and the people who get caught out every year are the ones who assume the whole lake works to one date. We schedule the south end first and work north and west as the season closes.
We run two yards on Simcoe rather than one, which is the practical answer to a lake this size. A boat from Jackson’s Point does not need to be trailered past Bradford to reach storage, and a boat from Innisfil does not need to cross to the south shore. Both yards are fenced, gated and monitored, both are insured to $5M with a certificate available on request, and the location of neither is published.
Pick your area: Georgina for the south shore, Keswick and Cook’s Bay, or Barrie and Kempenfelt Bay. East of the lake we also serve the Kawartha Lakes from a third yard.
Three services, together or separately. On a lake with this much open fetch, a proper frame matters more than the film does.

Cook’s Bay fills first because it freezes first. If you are at the south end, book earlier than you think you need to.
