What we wrap
Patio, terrace and poolside furniture
Resorts, restaurants, golf clubs and taprooms across the district put a season's worth of furniture away every October. Stacking it under tarps is how it comes out in May chafed, stained and smelling of mildew. Wrapped and vented, it comes out the way it went in. This is the single most common commercial job we do.
Equipment, machinery and vehicles
Skid steers, mowers, attachments, utility vehicles, golf carts and anything else that lives outdoors between seasons. Wrap keeps the weather off the hydraulics, the seats and the electronics, and it keeps snow out of places that are miserable to clear in April.
Finished millwork, cabinetry and furniture
High value finished goods going into a half-built cottage, or sitting in a shop waiting on a site that is not ready. Wrap protects the finish through transport and through however many weeks it has to wait, and it does not sweat the way plastic sheeting does.
Palletized freight and materials
Lumber, steel, cladding and palletized stock sitting in a yard. Heavy gauge wrap sheds snow and keeps a load together, which matters more on a truck than it does in a yard.
Overflow inventory
Trailers, RVs, display units and seasonal stock that will not fit inside. Dealers and rental yards run out of indoor space every winter, and wrapping outdoors is considerably cheaper than losing units to weather.
Why wrap instead of tarps
A tarp is held down with rope and moves every time the wind blows. That movement is what chafes finishes, and the gaps it opens are how water gets underneath and stays there. Shrink wrap is heat-fitted to the shape of what it covers and sealed, so there is nothing loose to catch the wind.
The part people miss is venting. A sealed cover with no ventilation traps moisture against whatever is inside it, which is what rusts equipment and ruins upholstery over a winter. Every wrap we install is vented, the same as the boats.
Work we have done
How it works
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. You tell us what you have | A rough description and a photo or two is enough. Use the form below or call. |
| 2. We come and look | No charge. For a straightforward job we can quote from photos instead. |
| 3. You get a fixed price | One number for the job, not an hourly rate that moves on you. |
| 4. We wrap it on site | We bring film, framing, heat and our own power. Nothing has to be moved. |
What it costs
Commercial work is quoted per job rather than published per foot. A stack of patio furniture, a skid steer and a pallet of millwork are not the same unit, so a per-foot rate would be meaningless. Quotes come down to how much volume there is to cover, how many separate items, and what the site is like.
There is no minimum job size and no charge to come and look. If it turns out wrapping is the wrong answer for what you have, we will say so.
